With our home base in Edmonton, Alberta, the SWBA team in Canada is made up of women and men who have chosen to collaborate and responded to requests for partnering with the local leadership and members of SWBA in Saaba, Burkina Faso. 

SWBA Canada collaborates with SWBA Burkina Faso through information sharing, ongoing communication, project follow up, and funding. With our home base in Edmonton, Alberta, SWBA Canada is made up of women and men who have chosen to collaborate and respond to partnering requests with the local leadership and members of SWBA in Saaba, Burkina Faso. 

Together, both the African and Canadian sections of SWBA advocate to decision-makers against the illegal cultural practice of widow pillaging, all while raising awareness and funds to keep this important work going.
